What counts as a conversation

A back-and-forth exchange with a single end-customer in a single window. Hours of messaging in one sitting count as one conversation. A returning visitor a week later starts a new one.

Solo: 500 conversations included

Your one agent gets 500 conversations / month. Resets on your billing date. Overage: $50 per extra 250 conversations, automatically added to the same monthly invoice.

Duo: 1,000 pooled

On Duo, both agents share a tenant-wide pool of 1,000 conversations. A busy agent can borrow allowance from a quiet one before any overage hits. Same overage rate ($50 / 250) once the pool is exhausted.

Trio: 1,500 pooled

On Trio, all three agents share a tenant-wide pool of 1,500 conversations. Same overage rate ($50 / 250) once the pool is exhausted.

Is there an annual plan or annual discount?

No. Saygents is monthly-only. No annual contracts, no annual discount. We would rather earn the next month than lock you in.
When does billing start?

You are billed for a full month at signup, then on that same day each month after. There is no proration — every month is billed in full, up front, on your signup-day anchor — and no refunds for partial months if you cancel. Canceling just stops your next charge.
What counts as a "conversation"?

What happens if I go over my conversation allowance?

Overage is billed automatically: $50 per extra 250 conversations, on the same monthly invoice. On Duo and Trio, the conversation pool covers every agent — a busy one can borrow allowance from a quieter one before any overage hits.
Can I add or remove channels later?

Yes — by upgrading tiers. There is no add-an-extra-agent option on any tier; instead you move Solo → Duo to add a 2nd channel ($150 → $250/mo), or Duo → Trio to add a 3rd ($250 → $300/mo). No migration — your existing agents stay live.
What if I only want two channels?

Buy Duo — 2 agents, $125 each ($250/mo flat), with 1,000 conversations pooled across both. No need to step all the way up to Trio if you only need two channels covered.
Do I need to bring my own AI keys or hosting?

No. Pricing is all-in. Saygents covers the model, the hosting, the database, the infrastructure, and the build work. You bring the business knowledge.
What if I cancel?

You can cancel anytime from the customer portal. The agent stays live through the end of the month you have already paid for, and then turns off. No refunds for the remainder of the month.
Is there a free trial?

Not currently. We invest real build time into every agent — a free trial would not give you the real product. Instead, the 20-minute demo call lets you see a working agent before you sign, and we cover the intake live on the same call.
How does team / multi-user pricing work?

Every plan includes one user out of the box. Additional teammates are $5 per seat per month. Every user — whether on the included seat or an added one — gets the same access: web portal, mobile inbox app, and everything the agent owner can see. Billing is prorated, and seats add or drop from your monthly invoice automatically.
Can I use my own logo on the web chat?

Yes — two separate add-ons that customize the web chat widget. Custom Logo ($10/mo per tenant) swaps the Saygents avatar for your own logo on the widget header and message bubbles. Hide Saygents Footer ($6/mo per tenant) removes the "Powered by Saygents" line at the bottom of the widget. Pick either or both. Color customization (agent bubble, customer bubble, background) is free for every tenant — only the logo swap and footer-hide are paid. Wired through your billing dashboard in two clicks once you're live.
Why only 3 channels — what happened to WhatsApp?

We removed WhatsApp from the lineup. The Meta Business Verification process required for every WhatsApp customer added 1–2 weeks of friction to each launch — and that didn't fit the 72-hour promise. Web Chat, Instagram DM, and Messenger all stay self-serve from your agent's Connections page, with no Meta Business Verification needed. If WhatsApp matters to you, let us know on the demo call — we keep a list and may bring it back when the setup story is genuinely easy.
